Our Fabrics

Our collection is meticulously made of fabrics woven with natural silver fibers which are proven & tested to shield you & your loved ones from Electromagnetic Radiation. Fabrics woven with silver naturally achieve excellent antibacterial, anti-static, and radiation proof effects.

Our Sheer Mesh Lining (used for the inside of our Kimono Dress, the Sheer Cover up, and the sheer slip tank):

93% Natural Silver Fiber, 7% Spandex

Shielding efficiency: 99.69% - 99.997% {25.052 - 44.614 dB (1GHz - 18GHz)}

Bacteriostasis rate >99%

Surface resistance <2Ω/cm

Our Dual Sided Silver knitted Fabric (used for our Swaddle/Head Scarf, one variation of the Trench Jacket, and the Staple Tank):

26% Natural Silver Fiber, 74% Cotton

Shielding efficiency: 98.3% to 99.99%. {17.61540.121 dB at 1 GHz 18 GHz}

Bacteria inhibition rate >99%

Surface resistance 1Ω /cm

Shielding efficiency, or effectiveness (SE), measures how well a material or structure reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency (RF) radiation, quantified in decibels (dB) where higher values indicate greater protection.
  • Attenuation: Shielding effectiveness is essentially a measure of signal attenuation, or how much a signal's strength is reduced as it passes through the shield
  • Decibel (dB) Scale: Attenuation is expressed in decibels (dB) on a logarithmic scale, meaning a 10 dB increase represents a 10-fold reduction in signal energy. For example, 60 dB reduces energy by a factor of 1,000, while 100 dB reduces it by a factor of 10 billion.
    Factors Influencing Shielding Efficiency
    • Conductivity: High conductivity, found in silver, is crucial for reflecting electric fields.
      • Other benefits of our silver fiber fabric:

      • Antimicrobial and odor control: Silver ions inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria and other microbes, keeping the fabric fresh and clean for longer.
      • Moisture-wicking: The fabric pulls sweat away from the skin, helping to keep the wearer dry and comfortable, especially during physical activity.
      • Thermal regulation: Silver is highly conductive and can efficiently transfer heat, helping to keep the body cool in hot weather and warm in cold conditions.
      • Anti-static: The silver in the fabric can help eliminate static electricity.
      • Durability: The antimicrobial properties are often permanent and remain effective even after multiple washes, which also extends the life of the product.
      • Electromagnetic shielding: Some silver fiber fabrics are conductive and can block electromagnetic radiation (EMR).

      Our garments are designed, cut and sewn in New York City's garment district and ethically made from imported silver fiber fabric. As our line continues to develop our fabrics will as well.
