Our Story

Emfique (pronounced like boutique) was created after my closest family member realized her onslaught of serious health issues in 2020 were caused by a sensitivity to Electromagnetic Radiation. At first I was in disbelief and had no idea how to navigate the topic, but I started to look into it. The research by countless scientists, neurosurgeons, and doctors was eye-opening and overwhelming. 

 

I became determined to protect myself and my family, beginning with hardwiring my house, disconnecting our router from 11pm-8am every night, and making sure all devices were on airplane mode outside of the bedrooms while we slept. But I couldn't avoid living life in the modern world and being an active member of society. 

 

When I became pregnant, I dove into researching more extensively on the invisible yet harmful impact of electromagnetic radiation during pregnancy, and on developing babies and children. The rapid technological expansion of the wireless world is moving fast and the mainstream has not caught on yet. If you care to read the studies, go for it.

 

It's been 5 years since I started on this journey. And what I've realized is that I'm not here to convince people that it is harmful anymore. I have created this brand for people who know it is or are open to learning more about it, and want a way to exist in this world with some level of protection day to day and not look like their wearing something from a sci-fi movie. 

 

When searching for EMF protective clothing, I mostly found options that were unflattering, athleisure, techy or low quality–nothing a fashionable woman or busy mama would want to wear.

 

So I decided to make it myself.

 

We are creating sophisticated garments that will not only protect you, but that have the quality and timeless style that you will want to wear for a lifetime.
